6:30pm-7:00pm Prayer Ministry meets the 1st Wednesday evening of the month. What is a Prayer Warrior? God calls all believers to fight in the spiritual battles that are constantly taking place, where evil causes suffering but God works to redeem it for good purposes. Those who say “yes” to God’s call – prayer warriors – participate in the world’s most important work. Prayer warriors see the battle and consistently take action by coming before God.

COMMUNION

Please join us for Communion every 5th Sunday of the month at both services. The word "communion" is defined as the act of sharing, or holding in common; participation. What is communion in a biblical sense? The word "communion" as translated in the King James Version is the Greek word "koinonia" and it means a partnership, participation or social intercourse, fellowship, communion, communication, distribution, contribution or to communicate. "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ" (1 Corinthians 10:16). What is communion? It is a fellowship of believers by which they gather together to remember the sacrifice of the LORD Jesus Christ. On the night that Christ was betrayed, He instituted this "remembrance." "And He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of Me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood, which is shed for you" (Luke 22:19-20). (Also see: Matthew 26:26-29; Mark 14:22-25.) Here at Lone Star Cowboy Church, we want to spark curiosity and guide children on a journey of faith through the wonder of God! We will explore the Big Questions and Big Ideas of the Bible! We will dive deep into God’s Word and help the kids know what they are believing and why. Solid Bible Teaching! Bringing Kids to Christ! Learning Made Fun: Every game, craft, and snack intentionally reinforce the main Bible teaching of the day. Come join Mrs. Coy Woody and Mrs. Cindi Brooks at Lone Star Cowboy Church for a week filled with fun. We are excited to take this time to celebrate Jesus with friends while enjoying games, fellowship, food and so much more. Pre-register All ages from 5 years and up! God’s Woven Hearts Ministry meet this Thursday at 7:00 p.m. to crochet or knit since the 4th Thursday is Thanksgiving.  These items are made to be given to cancer patients, the elderly and the homeless.
