    Lone Star Cowboy Church's Vacation Bible School (VBS) event with a Superheroes! Event: Lone Star Cowboy Church VBS Superheroes Date: August 1st through 4th Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM   Come join Mrs. Jo Carpenter and her superheroes at Lone Star Cowboy Church for a week filled with fun. Here at Lone Star Cowboy Church, we want to spark curiosity and guide children on a journey of faith through the wonder of God! We will explore the Big Questions and Big Ideas of the Bible! We will dive deep into God’s Word and help the kids know what they are believing and why. Solid Bible Teaching! Bringing Kids to Christ! During this event, we will engage in various activities, games, crafts, and lessons related to the Bible Superheroes. It's a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about biblical teachings while having fun.   Friday we will have a short show in tell for the family so plan on staying with us on this day.  Bring swimsuits and towels for the children to play on the waterslides and bounce houses. Faith Force: We have a team of superheroes representing different virtues and biblical concepts, such as faith, love, hope, and courage. Armor of God: Based on Ephesians 6:10-18, we are a group of superheroes who embody the different pieces of the armor of God. Creation Defenders: We have superheroes who are responsible for protecting and preserving God's creation. Each superhero can have powers related to environmental conservation and stewardship. Fruit of the Spirit Heroes: We help the children create superheroes inspired by the fruits of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23. Each superhero can embody a specific fruit, such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.     Team Roping Practice Every Thursday at 7:30pm to 9:30pm – Covered Arena $20.00/Per Rider plus $10 per each additional horse JUST NEED TO RIDE - NO PRACTICE Come One, Come All, everyone is welcome!  If you need to a place for fine tuning your horse, then this is the place to be!  It will be $10/per horse.  Please make sure you are mindful of the folks practicing during this time.   More Info, please contact:  Tinker Files 469-358-2424 Join our ‘Lone Star Cowboy Church Arena’ app.  This app is to keep up to date with the practices and events!  https://band.us/@lonestarcowboychurch   RULES:  Current Coggins required, and NO DOGS ALLOWED (only Service Dog). To participate in any events or practices we are required to inform you of the following: Do not come, if you have been around anyone with COVID-19. Do not come, if you had a temperature over 100.4°F (38°C) or have been sick in the last week. Do not come, if you have traveled outside of Texas. If you are 65 or older with health issues, we encourage you to put your safety first.  Come at your own risk. We encourage you to wear a mask or stay 6 feet apart. You will take your Temperature before you come.  If your temperature is above the required range, please do not come.     We are thrilled to have you attend our upcoming barrel & pole racing jackpot event! We know how important these events are for the barrel & pole racing community, and we are honored to host one the event for Ellis and surrounding counties. This is a great opportunity for riders to show off their skills and compete against some of the best in the area in a fun and exciting atmosphere. We want to ensure that everyone has a great time, which is why we have a few important rules in place. First and foremost, as organizers of this event, we want to emphasize the importance of a negative Coggins test for all horses attending. This is a requirement that helps to ensure the health and safety of our equine partners. This is a vital requirement to ensure the safety and health of all horses in attendance. By requiring a negative Coggins, we are doing our part to prevent the spread of this disease and keep all horses healthy. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter and ask that you have your Coggins certificate readily available upon arrival. We only allow service dogs at the event. We want to create a comfortable and safe environment for all participants, and service animals play an essential role in aiding those who need it. We kindly ask that all attendees respect this policy and leave all other pets at home. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding on this matter. No matter what the weather brings, our events will run rain or shine. We have a covered arena, so there will be no cancellations due to inclement weather.
